Formerly made as a red blend, High Hopes is a varietal Syrah for the first time in 2025, using grapes from schist-dominated soils in Riebeek-Kasteel. Demonstrating Lukas van Loggerenberg’s magic touch with the variety, it has lots of perfume and structure from 100% whole bunches, flavours of cooked meat, blackberry and thyme and a spicy finish.
