Grapes from Gawie du Bois’ Sonop farm in Stellenbosch make up the blend here, with 20% from a 1993 block in Darling. Wild yeast fermented in older oak, it has the subtlety and balance that are the hallmarks of the Tembela style, with jasmine and wet stone aromas and a structured palate of citrus and greengage and a pithy finish.
