First made in 2014, this Chenin Blanc, or Steen, put the Montagu region on the map. Sourced from two 43-year-old blocks on slate soils, it’s a wild, intense, fynbos-scented white with arrowhead acidity, layers of wet stone, lime and juniper, a hint of almond paste and a pithy, focused, mouth-watering finish.
