It’s good to see the Jordans persisting with Riesling, which remains a comparatively difficult sell in the Cape. This hails from a vineyard planted in 1986 and is just off dry at 7.1 grams of residual sugar. Tangy, refreshing and self-assured, it has notes of quince, lemon and lime, a hint of sherbet, palate-cleansing acidity and engaging, apposite sweetness.
