From own Paardeberg property, vineyards planed between 1972 and 1985. Fermented and matured for 12 months in a combination of concrete eggs, foudres and old barrels. The nose opens with a subtle leesy complexity before revealing peach, lime, lemon, orange and herbs. Rich and full the palate is energised by punchy acidity, the finish long and attractively bitter. Combines impressive fruit weight with remarkable drive. Alc: 13%.
