The tale goes as follow… People believed that the stone age hand axes they found were the result of lightning striking the soil and shaping the rocks. The Dutch called them “Dondersteentjies”. The red blend is their take on the traditional Helderberg blend that consisted of Cinsault, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
