85% Semillon, 15% Semillon Gris. Grapes from two Franschhoek vineyards, one planted in 1942 and the other in 1962. Subtle and alluring aromatics of hay, pear, peach, nectarine and a touch of earth. Dense fruit andwell integrated acidity before a finish that is gently savoury and ever so slightly grippy. Sophisticated – tightly wound and wonderfully nuanced. Alc: 12.8%.
