Baron Albert Champagne

Baron Albert Champagne

The Baron family has been living in the Champagne region for many generations, but it was only when the grandfather of the current owners of the House pushed for change that they began to produce champagne exclusively.
Today, the descendants of the Baron family, Claire, Lise and Aline, take care of the family estate and produce champagnes to which they bring their feminine touch.
Three sisters now run the show. Helped by their father Claude, Lise is in charge of the vines. Describing herself as more of a homebody than her older sister Claire, she likes being in Charly-sur-Marne, where her practical nature the utmost precision to vine-growing and winemaking. Claire, by contrast, is always travelling, always discovering and out talking to people - she is also a qualified viticulture and oenology, but is mainly involved in sales. The third sister Aline has a degree in biochemistry, a masters in microbiology, as well as being a qualified oenologist. Calmly technical and logical, she is always working and experimenting to improve the production process..
Located in Charly-sur-Marne, one of the largest wine-growing villages in Champagne, the Baron Albert House guarantees the quality of their work and the respect for tradition and nature.
