Miles Mossop The Introduction Red
This wine is a blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cinsault, 11% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet franc from specially selected vineyard sites around the Stellenbosch region.
The wine displays a stunning deep garnet colour with a ruby red rim. Primary aromas of ripe red and black berry fruit emanate from the glass. There are notes of dried Italian herbs and tobacco spice in the background. Entry on the palate is marked by juicy berry fruit with a clean mid-palate and a textured finish with notes of cocoa and herbal spice.
This wine is great companion at a braai before, during and after. Pairs especially well with herb crusted rack of Lamb.
