Leonista Reposado Black

Like the traditional Reposado aged in American oak but this time 6-8 months in old brandy and American oak casks offering more chocolate and caramel notes.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Think black Kalamata olives, meaty and saline, spiced black pepper with hints of menthol herbs, Japanese mint, eucalyptus, charred agave, misty with wood smoke.
Palate: Softly coating, a gentle oily mouthfeel of caramelised sugar, then Blanco spiked with a stick of 70% cocoa chocolate, seasoned salt and hints of that Karoo bushfire smoke.
Finish: Lingering finish.
