The Driehoek Shiraz has plenty of accolades to recommend it, including making it into the Top 12 at the Shiraz SA Wine Challenge. The nose is filled with concentrated aromas of blackcurrants and cherries. Gentle sweet vanilla and spice aromas can also be detected as a result of exquisite incorporation of wood. A smooth feeling is left on the tongue by silky tannins. Venison, oxtail stew or a succulent sirloin steak will make fantastic partners to this sensational red. It is optimally enjoyed within 4 to 6 years of release.
